Key Projects
US Census Bureau
Alta Plana designed the US Census Bureau's Census 2000 Data Product Production system, working on subcontract to IBM Global Services. AP president Seth Grimes led the DPP development and support team and advised Census Bureau and IBM staff creating American FactFinder, the Internet dissemination system for 2000 census statistics, sharing with them the honor of receiving the Vice President's Hammer Award for reinventing government.

Radisson Hotels Alta Plana maintained and extended Radisson Hotels' data-driven Web site, which Alta Plana staff helped build. The original www.radisson.com launched in 1996 using object-relational database technology to generate dynamic Web pages and communicated in real-time with Radisson's central reservations system. Alta Plana was responsible for the site's database and application code, which processed thousands of on-line reservations each month for almost 4 years until the 2000 site redesigned was launched, and also supported the Carlson Company's Country Inns and Suites and Regent Hotels sites.

Migration of the database and application code for Intelihealth -- the leading health and medical information Web site -- to the next generation of object-relational database technology. Webby Award
