This is the Data Policy (also known as a Privacy Policy) of Alta Plana Corporation ("Controller"), applying equally to the Breakthrough Analysis blog, the Sentiment Analysis Symposium and CX Exmotion conference sites, and all other online properties the corporation owns.

Alta Plana Corporation ("Alta Plana") has made a best effort to comply with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR). We are committed to achieving the highest standards to collect Personal Data responsibly and only when necessary for our business operations and to safeguard it to the best of our ability, in conformance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.

When registering for conferences, webinars, downloads, or site subscriptions; using our Web sites; or undertaking business with us, you voluntarily provide and consent to our collecting, holding, and using your Personal Data for the intended purpose and related communications. You also consent, as part of these communications, to the placement and use of performance analytics trackers embedded for statistical purposes.

2. Your rights as a data subject:

Under the EU GDPR, you benefit from certain rights including the right to access your personal data held on our databases, to correct them, to ask us to remove them, to restrict us from using them, and to ask us to move your personal details to a new provider should you wish to port your personal data. 3. The personal data do we collect, maintain, and use:

We may collect, process, and use for our services your name, organization, job title, contact details (including postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number), social handle(s), credit card and financial information, photograph or video image.

The software we use for our Web sites and online services set cookies as part of their operations. (A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web site. It is stored locally by your browser if preferences you set allow storage. You control how long cookies are retained.) Alta Plana does not set or use cookies otherwise.

4. Where personal data resides, how we share it, and retention:

Your personal details is stored with our service providers including 1&1, Hurricane Electric, and Google. We do not provide personal data collected for our own use to other individuals or organizations and will not except as required by law. In certain instance, we may use your personal data on behalf of others, but it will not be shared with them except when collected on their behalf, as would be indicated at the time we collect it.

5. Amendment

Alta Plana reserves the right to change any of the terms of this policy at any time and without notice. Alta Plana therefore recommends that you review this privacy policy from time to time, or before making a transaction.
